There is something wonderful about going back to your photography roots. I started working at the Mebane Enterprise as a newspaper photographer. With newspaper photography you are always kept on your toes as you never know what might unfold at a moments notice - that is why I love wedding photography because no two are ever the same. Recently I was asked to donate my time and photograph some pictures for Faith Force. Faith Force is four gentlemen who use feats of strength to convey a message to local communities across our great country. Recently they came to the N.E. Guildford High School to preform and it was unbelievable in what these guys did. Bending steel, breaking through layers upon layers of ice, breaking burning bricks and busting full cans of soda, and so much more. More than that they reached out to children to spread a message of faith building and encouraging them to be the best that they can be.
Biz-Link recently held a networking luncheon out at Pine Lake Pavilion - the goal was to help local business owners learn more about other businesses in the area while raising money to help the Special Olympics of Alamance County. Over 60 local business came out to attend the luncheon which raised $400 for the Special Olympics. A big thank you and shout out to Jennifer Ball of Pine Lake Pavilion who headed up this event - she was amazing. Also Vivian Sweatt of Alamance Party Rentals and the the wonderful talent of the vendors listed who made this event possible.
So many blog ideas so little time - so I thought I start out my week with one of the engagement sessions I have done recently. I have lots more to post but for now I like you to meet this fun couple! It was a great time meeting up with Ashley and Chase at the Tanger Family Park up in Greensboro. Ashley is a UNC Chapel Hill student and will be graduating soon. Chase and Ashley will be married on May 29th and shortly after that they will be relocating to Alabama where Ashely will continue her education. Here are just a few from our day!
HUEF4NTCHMW2 Just wanted to share with you a few photographs of Matthew - today he is going off to class at UNCG to finish up his semester there in the business classes he is taking. Tonight we are having a celebration cookout. Matthew you are amazing and I wish you a very Happy 21st Birthday ever!
What an awesome time Shawn, Ashley and I had on Saturday as we headed out to beautiful Cedar Rock Park (just south of Burlington). Ashley wanted some photographs with water in them so our first stop was the Old Mill Dam. We walked the park for about 90 minutes finding some of the most beautiful spots within the park. Ashley was amazing, no matter how many locations we stopped at - she was happy to try something new. I love that she brought with her - her pink graduation gown to get a few photographs in. Here are just a few from our day, thank you so much Ashley!
We're so glad you're here! I'm Michelle, and along with my daughter Sara, we photograph weddings here in North Carolina! We are so thankful that you have stopped by to visit. So please, grab something yummy to drink, settle into a big comfortable chair and enjoy reading into a small part into our lives!
