Website Relaunch - 2015!!!

Tuesday, July 28, 2015

Ahhh! The new website is HERE! Wow, it honestly is so surreal actually writing that we are done. That massive to-do list is finally completed! This website has felt all the hard work and love that we have poured into it. After a month filled with new goals, new dreams, and new to-do lists!

How we began the process was like any other, we desired something fresh and new. A website that completely fit us in every way, something clean and timeless. I can't tell you how much we fell in love with this website. The website idea came to us before even met our dream photographer, Katelyn James! Along with getting our photographs taken, she worked with us in a coaching session to revamp our website and our brand. There were some days that it was difficult, but the long nights were incredible worth it! Sara and I have revamped this website to be better for YOU! This is about how we can create a lovely experience for you when looking for wedding photography! Along with creating a new site, we have created a new Timeless Wedding Experience, just for you!

Sara and I would really love to thank our husbands, Joe and Jake, for helping and supporting our dreams! They truly are the support system to each of us and we couldn't be more thankful for them! To our friends and families who have listened to our ideas, rants of frustration, and encouraged us! Our friends at Showit, who helped us out throughout the process of this website relaunch! And to Katelyn, who encouraged us to dream higher and serve more!

Celebrating the women in our life is so important! Sara and I have something unique, yes we are mother and daughter, but more than that we are the best of friends. I am so blessed by her and that I don't take that for granted, not one moment.  We believe that photographs should be cherished, that is why we recently put our cameras down (well sort of...we couldn't put them down all the way!) and had our photographs done!  I love that we have inside jokes that made us laugh when we were doing these images together.  When I look at these images of Sara, they show her heart as she is one of the most beautiful souls I know. She inspires me to be the best person (and mom) I can be! That is why at every wedding we celebrate and photograph that special woman in your life from your mother to your best friend.

The BIGGEST thank you to Katelyn James for these beautiful images! You truly inspire us!

Brandon + Elizabeth | Greensboro, NC

Tuesday, September 30, 2014

It is one of the moments that you don't plan for but one that can bring so much joy. The moment the Father of the Bride sees his daughter for the very first time in her wedding dress. Watching him embrace Elizabeth in this big warm hug, left not a dry eye in the room. It was also touching when Elizabeth and her father walked down the aisle to her awaiting groom Brandon. At the First Christian Church in Greensboro, Pastor Lee and Elizabeth's God Mother Lori performed the wedding ceremony. The couple exited out of the church into bursting bubbles of joy before heading over to their event location. Brandon's parents took the old showroom in which they had their furniture displayed (his father makes beautiful furniture) and turned it into a unique venue for the afternoon. The Warehouse was transformed with some beautiful up lighting by Dream Builder Productions to display an inviting and playful reception. One of the unique displays was a big saw blade with the couples name and date on it, in which Brandon did. The next day, the couple jetted off to Jamaica for their honeymoon! Thanks Brandon and Elizabeth for letting us be a part of your day, we were honored to be there.

Wedding | Proximity Hotel, Greensboro, NC

We love photographing the bride getting ready. There is a flurry of different things that are all happening at one time as well so many moments that unfold as the bride gets ready for the moment she walks down the aisle and sees her groom for the first time. Issa and Bhavini got ready at the Proximity Hotel were married at Dormition of the Theotokos Greek Orthodox Church in Greensboro. It was our first time witnessing such a beautiful ceremony performed by Fr. Thomas Newlin and his wife Jenny Newlin assisting him. After the ceremony, the couple took time to just photograph the two of them at Proximity Hotel before they went into their cocktail hour to greet their guest. We like to send a special thank you out to all the family and close friends of the couple; we were so warmly received, welcomed and truly enjoy meeting and being a part of this special day. Without further ado…

Matthew and AnneMarie | Engagement Session Greensboro

Thursday, August 28, 2014

Matthew and Annemarie engagement session was one of my favorites this year. Because Matthew and Annemarie are so connected to another they moved from photograph to photograph seamlessly. The images we got were stunning! As we walked around downtown Greensboro I really got to know about both of them. They are both very talented artists, he is a writer, she is an artist/photographer. They share a love of art, music, spending time together and holidays with their families. They met in 2009 at college when they shared an Anthropology class together and they quickly learned that they really enjoyed spending time with one another by going to "their" park at the Tuskaseegee river in Culowhee. Sara and I are looking forward to their wedding this Saturday and making more beautiful images together until then here are just a few of my favorite from their session!
