Tangelwood Park Clemmons NC | Jim and Sarah

Friday, June 4, 2010

I knew the moment I caught the (first) image below in my camera - it was the one - the Portrait. I loved the artistic feel it had to it, so needless to say when Sarah choose it as her portrait I was thrilled. What I loved about Sarah's Bridal Session was that it was anything but traditional. Sarah is energetic, outrageous and just makes you laugh. Then there is Jim, he can keep you on your toes while photographing because you never know what is going to happen next with him. This couple was amazing, from portraits at Tangelwood Park, their engagement session at Tangelwood Park and then the wedding at Pine Lake Pavilion. It has been a wonderful time and we are so honored to be the ones to photograph them. Thank you both!

Katie - Whitsett, NC

Tuesday, January 26, 2010

One of the things I love most about being a photographer are the people I get to meet, the lives I touch through my photography and the friendship that are made. I meet Katie - when she was planning her wedding to Jeremy. Since then we have photographed her bridal, engagement and wedding. Along the way we built a friendship that is amazing. I enjoy getting together with Katie at our favorite place for lunch Olive Garden. She is intelligent, fun, sensitive and has a strong belief in her faith. Recently I asked Katie if she would like to get together and do some fun photographs. She was excited about doing the photographs and asked if I would kindly do them at her family's home. It was a super fun fall day - and Katie, as always was a blast. Thanks Katie for being my friend, waiting patiently for the photographs and most importantly always being you! You can catch all of Katie's photographs on our Facebook page.

Duke Chapel, Durham - Hinton Family

Wednesday, December 2, 2009

It was a real pleasure meeting the Hinton family this past Sunday. Brad is one amazing young man. He is currently attending Duke Divinity School where he is in his first of the three years he will be attending. His mother, Sandra, wanted a photograph of him in front of Duke Chapel. The school means quite a bit to Brad - so after taking a few photographs by Duke Chapel, we went and took some at Duke Divinity that were important to Brad. The school, like the chapel, are both beautiful and rich in architect. We took some time to create a few portraits of Brad, as well as both of his parents Sandra and Bill and his friend Erin. Brad is also an EMT and loves the outdoors. He should be happy, they are calling for snow this weekend, and he loves to ski.

Mary Jan Bridal Portrait Burlington, NC

Wednesday, April 29, 2009

Every year in Burlington, some of the most beautiful homes there are showcased. Now, think about putting a gorgeous bride in one of those homes to photograph her bridal portrait. I was so unbelieveable blessed when Marshall and Scott opened their home to Mary Jan and I to photograph her Bridal portrait. Mary Jan looked stunning in an strapless gown and she was amazing! We took the time to take every photo opportunity that we could. Since she and Foster just got married this past weekend - I can share her photographs with you. Thanks Mary Jan, Janice, Janet, Scott and Marshall.
