Brittany + Garrett | Engagement Session

It was a just so much fun meeting our lovely bride and groom, Brittany and Garrett, when I did their engagement session this past week at UNC Carolina!  A place that holds a lot of great memories for these two. Brittany was attending UNC Carolina while Garrett was at NCSU when they met through a mutual friend Adam! Adam set up the couples first date in May over four years ago and soon these two are going to be married at the Great Hall at Castle McCulloch. While they are busy planning a wedding, working, they both are currently getting their Master degrees at NCSU!  They are just the sweetest couple ever as we spent our time photographing we talked about their careers, cotton farming, weddings and Coldstone ice-cream!

Thank you both for walking me back to my car and for one of the most delightful evenings ever!

Exciting News!

We truly do love seeing weddings being used to inspire and encourage others with planning their own wedding! Weddings take time and lots of love, but when it all comes together the hard work is worth every once of late nights.

Carla and Richard, your wedding was so precious and we are excited that you were published not just once, but TWICE. How amazing is that?! This is all thanks to the Inspired Bride!!

Kate and Eric's Paris Themed Wedding... It's all in the details

So stroll down the streets of Paris with me for just a moment. Oh don't worry we are not going that far, we found Paris right here in Mebane. When Jennifer Ball of : Knot Your Average Events created a Paris Themed Wedding for our wonderful bride Kate... So many elegant little touches that where brought into this design. The beautiful hues of delicate pink petals that displayed their monogram of M when they walked down the aisle. Crisp black and white stripped table clothes lined the large table that was the center of the reception area with tall center pieces designed with white whimsical flowers along with French music softly playing in the background made everything so magically. So many talented vendors were involved in bringing all the elements together from flowers to cake (see Kate's reaction to seeing it for the first time) and Paris couldn't be completed with out the Eiffel Tower which was sculpted out of ice by Chef Al Romano. No detail was left out for Kate's dream wedding. DJ Brian of McSound Productions kept everyone dancing throughout the night, check out Jenn and Kate dancing the Wobble.. and one of my favorite parts of the evening, getting hugged by Kate... Merci Kate, pour traiter tout votre invité à une soirée à Paris! (Thank you Kate, for treating all your guest to a night in Paris!)

Mebane Pine Lake Pavilion Wedding | Cameron and Ashley

What a great way to start off our wedding season at Pine Lake Pavilion with Cameron and Ashley. Rain threated us all the way through the night before, but the next day we had beautiful sunshine and gorgeous weather. Cameron and Ashley started off with a first look, which allowed them to have a wonderful and relaxed time with each other. After all of their photographs were done, they both slipped into something a little more dress casual and headed into cocktail hour to allow all their guest time to make it to their Friday evening wedding. Just before the sun was about to set, Cameron slipped on her dress and walked down the aisle, escorted by her father to meet a very delighted groom. Michelle and Matthew had a great time photographing this wedding way into the late evening, and as you can see by the photographs, we had a fun time doing it!
