Here is a sneak peak into Foster & Mary Jan's Wedding. More to come!
Foster - A Portrait of a Groom - Burlington, NC
I had just released Mary Jan's photographs when I received a call from Janet, the grooms mother. She just loved the photographs of Mary Jan and said "Could we do a portrait of Foster, a surprise for Mary Jan". So we sneaked away to the house of Scott and Marshall (a BIG thank you to them) to photograph Foster. We recreated some photographs that would go with Mary Jan's - like at the piano, in front of the window - etc. We did some fun poses, serious poses and had the greatest time. Foster did almost every pose we could think to asked of him!

Mary Jan Bridal Portrait Burlington, NC
Every year in Burlington, some of the most beautiful homes there are showcased. Now, think about putting a gorgeous bride in one of those homes to photograph her bridal portrait. I was so unbelieveable blessed when Marshall and Scott opened their home to Mary Jan and I to photograph her Bridal portrait. Mary Jan looked stunning in an strapless gown and she was amazing! We took the time to take every photo opportunity that we could. Since she and Foster just got married this past weekend - I can share her photographs with you. Thanks Mary Jan, Janice, Janet, Scott and Marshall.

Happy "20th" Birthday Matt
It is hard to believe that Matthew is turning 20 today. You know the story, it just seemed like yesterday.... Well it does. Matthew has been such a blessing in my life. He has accomplished much in his 20 years, he runs a business with his father, teams up with me in photography and goes to college full time. He is just finishing up his Sophomore year at ACC before he heads out to UNC Greensboro this fall. He has volunteered for Teen Court, has held four successful blood drives and yes he does help old ladies across the street... Oh please don't get me wrong, he is your normal 20 year old, but I promised him I wouldn't blog about that stuff, well at least for today! Today his best friend Rhianna will come over - to study for their English final, to have dinner to celebrate his day, and beat him at a game or two of guitar hero. Thanks Matthew for everything you are, everything you do. You are my hero son, Happy Birthday to you.
The photograph is courtesy of photographer/friend Brian Mullins. Thank you Brian!
