Chas and Megan's wedding was filled with so many cherishable moments. The first came when they were doing their first look. The moments that lead up to Megan and Chas’s photograph session were just priceless as Chas was excited to finally see Megan in her dress. During their wedding ceremony they passed around their wedding rings for everyone to see and warm up. The cutest part was that the ring box was a replica of the Tardis from Dr. Who. If you couldn't see their love for Dr. Who yet, Megan incorporated quotes from the show into her wedding vows. Another moment came as a surprise to everyone especially to Megan. Chas is a musician, but something Megan didn’t know is that for the last six month he was learning keyboard. This is when Chas began to play and sing John Legend’s All of Me to Megan. Everyone, including us, were just in tears! Finally at the Mother/Son dance, Chas started to dance with his mom then went on to dance with each of his grandmothers. Megan and Chas, thank you for lettings us be a part of all of these wonderful moments. Here is just a few of our favorites from your day!
Starlight Meadows | Jim + Kimberly

When I first met and talked with Kimberly, I felt like she was someone I have known for my whole life. When we first spoke to each other it was almost for an hour. She has such a warm inviting soul. We talked a lot about her upcoming wedding to a wonderful man (Jim). She kidded that they were the new Brady bunch, with her three boys and his two girls and a son. Kimberly and Jim were married out at Starlight Meadows in Burlington, North Carolina. While it was a breezy chilly day, the sky was so blue and the sun shone brilliantly over the ceremony which began in front of the back of the barn were her youngest son walking her part way down the aisle in which he handed her to her next son and then he walked her down to her eldest son. It was truly a touching moment. All of the children stood next to their mom or dad as they watched their parents say I do. Then the two separate families of 4 became a unified family of 8. It was definitely a country chic kind of day with the most beautiful decorations throughout the barn. Kimberly thought of so many neat details to make up their day and needless to say the barn looked amazing. A few of our favorites came at sunset when we put the couple out in the field of grass. Thank you to Kimberly and Jim for letting us photograph your perfect day!
Magnolia Manor | Carla + Richard
Friday, October 10, 2014
As our first brunch wedding, words escape me while writing about Carla and Richard's wedding. Their brunch wedding (located at Magnolia Manor) was a dreamy world of beautiful light, inviting details, and a perfect couple. To begin the beauty of the day, Carla had a first look with both her father and her soon to be husband. Her father was just in awe over his daughter. Carla smiled so much as she walked up to her future groom wearing his white Military uniform. Richard was just in awe by the glowing beauty Carla displayed. The couple was then married, in from of their close friends and family, under the grand magnolia tree. Once pronounced husband and wife, they danced in the middle of the garden filled with glowing sunshine. And of course to make this exit grand, they had their guests cheer them off with paper airplanes being flown around them. So creative! However, this is never the end, but only the beginning for them. Anchors away Carla and Richard, thank you for letting us aboard your wedding day!
