Beautiful Changes | Michelle Robinson Photography

There have been quite a few changes going on behind the scenes here at MRP, starting with our newly designed Blog!! We are so thrilled to have this chance to freshen it and continue to post more! Sara and I's favorite part is now having our very own Pin it button, so if your into Pinterest (like Sara) go ahead and pin away!
Besides the new blog look we also have a new Bridal Show Booth. It has taken some sweat, a few tears, but most it has been a labor of love. It really began about 6 months ago with ideas Sara and I had when we were on the plane ride back from the Wedding MBA Convention in Vegas last year. We wanted a booth that reflected our work - that was whimsical, romantic and well us! We love our backdrop that is made from satin ribbon in our colors of blue, white, and grey. We are delighted about our sign and we worked closely with PV Communication who help create our vision! Besides adding new photographs, new albums, vintage cameras that I have collected through the years, cute little succulent plants (Etsy), twinkly lights (Amazon), as well as some crates (WalMart - we sprayed in our color of gray), and a chalk board window panel (Hobby Lobby) that created some great charm! Whew, that was a mouth full! In the end, the booth looks amazing and we are so proud of how it came together. Here are just a few snaps from our last Bridal Show!
A HUGE thanks to those who helped us, listen to our cries, and cheered with us as we completed this long project!
Castle McCulloch Wedding | Andre & Jennifer
Tuesday, January 20, 2015
Happy New Year! We are excited that our first wedding of the year was a very intimate Cinderella themed wedding at the Great Hall at Castle McCulloch. Jennifer wore a beautiful ball gown wedding dress with gorgeous glass slippers. She walked down the aisle accompanied by her two aunts to meet her waiting Prince... Andre. Jennifer's children were standing up beside the couple and took part of a marble ceremony signifying that these four were now a family. As Jennifer and Andre exchanged rings, said I do, and sealed it with a kiss, their family and friends were cheering them on. Here are just a few images from their wedding. Thank you so much Jennifer and Andre, for letting us be a part of your day!

Stephen + Brianne | Castle McCulloch
Friday, November 7, 2014
Grab your passport and get ready for the travel inspired wedding of Stephen + Brianne at Castle McCulloch’s Great Hall in Jamestown, NC. The couple got married on a Monday afternoon, which turned out to be such a delightful day for weather, in the midst of rains we were having. The ceremony was in the Great Hall and performed by their friend, Kimberly Fulmer. While the couple was taking their photographs with us, Stephanie from Viva L'event was transforming the room into a travelers paradise. Their programs were passports, they had tickets to show which table you were to be seated at, and had treats from all around the world. Each table was themed a different country, such as China, Italy and the couples favorite, France! This is where Stephen and Brianne would be going to for their honeymoon. The desert table was cookie jars filled with delicious cookies from all over the world which Brianne made. The beautiful travel cake (we love the little airplane on top) was made by her friend, Sweet Arielle Pastries and Confections. To top of this great event, groomsmen and dance instructor Ches taught the couple a dance for their first dance together. Thank you Stephen and Brianne for allowing us to travel with you on this beautiful wedding of yours, it was truly an honor!
